The new single “Lydmurren” by Steam Engines & Flying Machines is released on the March 17, 2023. In 2021 we released their debut EP “Contact” followed by their latest double track single “In Orbit/Dreams Of Home” last summer, on June 20, 2022. “Lydmurren” indeed follows the cinematic science fiction space spheres theme as its predecessors along with an additional exciting and pounding, polyrhythmic, special effects universe.

Buckle up for a journey into outer space!
The two tracks describe two different parts of a voyage into outer space aswell as a voyage on a more abstract level. In 2021 Steam Engines & Flying Machines released the EP ”Contact” consisting of four filmic tracks, and the new release continues in the same theme but adds new nuances to the sound of the project.

Debut EP "Contact" from Copenhagen-based Steam Engines & Flying Machines was released on the 15th of march 2021 on the music label Sublime Exile Recordings. "Contact" is a raw, evocative and filmic collection of instrumental songs creating a steampunkish universe mixing rock, electronica, punk and more. Extraterrestrial life and existentialism combined.
